About iLoveGantt

Where it comes from

iLoveGantt is built by Manuel Robles in Buenos Aires. It comes out of day-to-day work in architecture and construction: project schedules live trapped in Excel files nobody wants to open, or in PDFs that can no longer be edited. Every time a date moved, the chart had to be redrawn.

The alternatives were project management software with sign-up, a monthly plan and a learning curve, or timeline generators that make decorative graphics with no real dates. The middle was missing: open it, fix it, export it, close it.

The model: one tool per page

The reference is iLovePDF. One page per task, no account, nothing to install, solved in the browser. You arrive with a specific problem — convert this spreadsheet, export this PDF — and you leave with the result.

That is why processing is local: it is not a marketing stance, it is what makes going account-free possible. If your file never leaves your computer, you do not need to trust a server of ours.

How it sustains itself

The core tools are free and will stay free. Some visual themes and advanced features are part of a paid plan, and that is the intended support: the people who use it daily fund the ones who use it once in a while.

There are no ads and no data sales — and there could not be even if we wanted: the data never reaches the server.

If something does not import correctly, if a template you need is missing, or if you found a bug: team@ilovegantt.com. Files that get detected badly are the best source of improvements for the importer — send the case over and it usually ends in a fix.
