If the document has selectable text (the ones from Excel, Project or Word), the table is detected right away. If it is scanned or a photo, an AI running in your browser reads it and the quality depends on how sharp it is. Either way the file never leaves your device.
It locates the table in the document and interprets each column —name, dates and phase— to build the bars; if any looks uncertain, it shows it on a review screen so you can adjust it.
